CDA collaborates with Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment to quantify HCV burden in the State

CDA is collaborating with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to quantify the burden of HCV in the state. The Colorado Electronic Disease Reporting System (CEDRS) reports a recent increase in acute HCV notifications, consistent with national trends. Likewise, the Colorado Central Cancer Registry reports an increasing burden of liver cancer in recent years, highlighting the need to address HCV at both the state and national levels.
